Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Oil central heating and electricity (£40 per week in winter), bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and fuel for open fire included. Cot and highchair. Doggy extras. Telephone - incoming calls only. Garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue. Badminton and croquet available. Private parking. Please note: There are unfenced ponds nearby.. We have been visiting The Old House for 8 years. If you like solitude this is the place for you…surrounded by fields..no sounds other than the birds and the rustle of the trees….Shops and good Pub Grub are to be found in and around Diss which is about 20 minutes in the car..

Lovely old house, warm and comfortable. Not too posh for kids and dogs to enjoy. Secure garden for dogs and parking in grounds.
If you want peace and relaxation this place fits.
Be prepared to swear if over 5’5’’ - low beams upstairs.

Loved my stay here with my son and family and three dogs! The cottage is wonderful, and the grounds. Lots of walks for the dogs and children. Would love to return in the future, hopefully.

5th time we’ve been to The Old House..
we love the peace, the walks from the door, the short car ride to Diss, the log fires in the lounge and kitchen, the recliner chair and settee’s, the close proximity to several pubs serving excellent food at a reasonable price, the beautiful heathland walks with the dogs at Knettashall . In fact we like everything about this historic old farmhouse and the surrounding area.
