Het is een honderden jaren oude cottage. Heel karaktervol!! Allemaal houten balken. Schots en scheef. Heel charmant. Goed uitgeruste keuken, sfeervolle woonkamer en fijn tuintje (plaatsje). Het ligt in een prachtig straatje in het oude centrum van Lavenham. Heel leuk dorpje waar genoeg te doen/zien is!
De trap naar de eerste verdieping is behoorlijk stijl! Wat écht beter vermeld moet worden in de omschrijving op Booking.com zijn de 'badkamers'. Er zijn twee badkamers; dat was voor ons (twee stellen) de reden om voor Coppers te kiezen. Maar eigenlijk zijn het geen twee badkamers. De ene badkamer (boven, aan de masterbedroom) zit onder het schuine dak. Je kunt er nauwelijks staan. Niet bij het kleine wastafeltje en al helemaal niet in het bad. En in dat bad moet je ook douchen. Met een handdouche (douche kan niet hangen). Je kunt hooguit een beetje nat worden, voorover gebogen in het bad. Daarnaast is de hele badkamer tijdens 'douchen' zo kletsnat, want geen douchegordijn. Alleen bij het toilet kun je rechtop staan. Dus dat werd douchen in de 'badkamer' beneden. Die was echt heel klein! Denk 1 m x 2,5 m. Een toilet, piepklein wasbakje en heel kleine douche. Als je op het toilet zit kun je je voeten onder de douche moeiteloos wassen en tegelijk je tanden poetsen bij het wasbakje. . Maar ja, je kon er wel rechtop staan. Dat dan weer wel!Maar een betere beschrijving op de site zou prettig zijn!
