About this house rental
This gorgeous ground-level apartment (no stairs) is part of our home in a historic villa located in one of Amsterdam’s most desirable residential areas — the Museum District. Peaceful and private, the apartment sits directly across from the beautiful gardens of the Rijksmuseum and occupies approximately 80 m² / 860 ft².
From the living room window, you can enjoy a lovely view of the Rijksmuseum, and the private city garden/patio (26 m² / 280 ft²) with romantic evening lighting offers a rare oasis in the city center. With 3-meter-high ceilings and the highest monumental status in the Netherlands, this is truly a one-of-a-kind property.
Each bedroom features a king-size bed (180 × 200 cm / 71 × 79 in), making the apartment perfect for families or two couples. On request, we can prepare in the livingroom an extra bed on an air mattress (150 × 200 cm / 59 × 79 in).
There is one full bathroom with a toilet, shower/bathtub, and sink, accessible from the hallway (not through a bedroom), plus an additional half bathroom with a toilet and small sink.
The fully equipped kitchen includes filtered, sparkling, and boiling water directly from the tap, along with complimentary coffee and tea.
The house is fully air-conditioned, with two units in the living room and one in each bedroom, as well as additional ventilators for extra comfort.
This is a truly family-friendly home. Upon request, we can provide a high chair, baby cot (60 × 120 cm / 24 × 47 in), or luxury toddler travel bed (Deryan), plus a baby playpen and bed rails for child safety. Families are warmly welcomed.
The location is unbeatable — next door to Amsterdam’s most luxurious shopping street, featuring Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Tiffany, Prada, and Chanel, and just around the corner from the U.S. Consulate.

The kitchen is fully equipped, had lots of coffee pods which lasted us the whole stay, which is exceptional, many places only give you a few. Laundry detergent supplied, again a big bonus. when travelling you don't want to have to worry about little things like that. Beds super comfy. Highly recommend.

Great location in Amsterdam. Everything was walkable. Place was specious and open, clean and well appointed with towels bedding. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook. Cute outdoor space and very safe upscale neighborhood. Coffee and washer and dryer was well appreciated. Thank you for sharing this lovely apartment

The property is beautiful, well maintained, and perfectly situated near many of the museums and other attractions. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend this property.
