About this villa rental
Villa Davide is located half way between Sorrento and Sant’Agata sui due Golfi, a top hill village overlooking both Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. Sant’Agata is ideal for families or groups who are in search of a stress free vacation.
It is in fact located in a strategic and convenient location, one can easily access the nearby holiday resorts of Positano and Amalfi south of Naples and north of Pompeii respectively.
Describing the view from Villa Davide would be like expressing impressions of a painting from a famous artist! It is a unique and breathtaking experience. Mother nature spared no expense, as the villa is totally surrounded by a green miracle.
The property lies on a typical terraced Sorrento garden where several facilities such as the swimming pool area equipped with table, chairs and sun loungers, a mini pool Jacuzzi, a barbecue area, a fire brick oven where you might even be tempted to create your own Neapolitan Pizza also known as Margherita! The list goes on with a small soccer pitch, a ping pong table and a private parking area. The view of the entire Bay of Naples with the Vesuvio just in front of you is something to be relished!
The terraced garden of the villa is also the seat of two outdoor buildings where three of the six bedrooms are located.
Villa Davide, in fact, is composed of six bedrooms, four in the main body along with three bathrooms and the other two are located in the outdoor building. All bathrooms have showers; in the main body there is a bath tub in one of the bathrooms. The villa can comfortably accommodate up to 14 people.
The main body itself is divided into two levels: the bedroom area is located on the upper floor together with two out of the three bathrooms; the third bathroom is downstairs next to the kitchen, a modern and fully equipped facility at that! All rooms and lounges are fully air conditioned of course.
Villa Davide is ideal for individuals who are looking for a place to celebrate important lifetime events; it is often used for small family weddings as well!

Halfway between Sorrento that offers a whole series of tourist services and Sant'Agata sui due golfi, a quiet village where in summer you can enjoy a cool climate especially in the evening.
In the immediate vicinity there is a bus stop to reach Sorrento, Sant'Agata, Massalubrense and other towns in the area.
If you have a car in the property there is a parking space available.Sorrento can be reached in about 10 minutes by car.

A refundable deposit of 500 Euros (Security) will be required and will be refunded at time of departure; an inspection of the house will take place in case of any property damage.
Check-In is from 15:00, Check-Out is by 10:00 AM.
Late check-in fee from 9pm € 50,00
Price includes taxes, cleaning costs upon arrival, wi-fi, electricity, air conditioning/heating, bed linens and towels.
Extra costs:
Final cleaning 300 Euros per stay.
City tax: € 4,00 per day, per person (from 18 years onwards)
Use of the sauna optional: € 50,00 per day.
Cot on request 50€ per stay
From 1st March it is possible, if requested, to have the swimming pool heated, at the daily cost of € 100.

We can’t say enough about this house. It was fantastic. The people were wonderful. I did read online review about the toilet paper and it’s true. Bring extra or ask for extra. I do recommend also the pizza night as the wine and pizza were delicious !!! We would book this place again for sure !!!! Do you won’t regret it

The Villa David is located in one of the mountains in Sorrento – across the gulf you can clearly see Mt. Vesuvius. There is about a 10 – 15 minute ride into the city center of Sorrento. You will need to either rent a car (if you are brave) or get a driver to get into town. You cannot walk this route.
We had a group of 8 adults stay at the Villa for the week. We all agreed the outside areas (pool, decks, hot tub) are our favorite part of our stay. We were able to relax as a group and take in the views. The rooms are all accommodating with the “master suite” having a view of the water. There are plenty of bathrooms. The cottage fits two rooms and two bathrooms with a ton of space. We were able to arrange to have groceries delivered when we arrived.
There are some items to note when renting this villa:
1. There is another tenant on property, possibly the owner. Our outing was a group of friends, so there was no need for privacy. However, there were several times when other parties were being shown the property (not the inside, just the outside) and various repairs outside were being done. In the instances we were at the villa for the day, we were asked if it was ok for repairs to be done before the person come on property. Also, the tenant's dogs twice got into the villa through open doors and woke up the occupants of the house. If privacy is not an issue then having the owner so close was very convenient when we had trouble with some of the appliances – he was there within minutes.
2. There was a mold problem in the cottage (not the main house) and it had a musty smell. If you don't use the cottage - this won't be an issue. There was an ant epidemic one day. The ants were sprayed for immediately after we notified the owner and the mold/ants probably are due course when living in a mountain – but be aware when leaving food in the kitchen or if anyone has a mold allergy.
3. There is a very active event venue right next door. The week we stayed at the villa, we had a few weddings and a birthday party right next door. If you are looking for quiet at night – this may disturb you. We just drank more wine and enjoyed the music, it was not a problem.
Overall, the view this villa offers and the multiple meeting places for large groups highly outweighed any of the noted items above. We’d recommend the Villa.
