Built in 1897 this building is one of the most photographed buildings in Northern California. Nestled in the heart of Humboldt County where you can experience not only the magic of Ferndale but explore the nearby famous Ave of the Giants , the wild lost coast and several nearby state and national parks.

What a uniquely situated home. Eclectically appointed furnishings from steam punk to antiques. Terrific space for a long or short term visit. It is really encouraging to see a Victorian structure so well maintained. This is a perfect location as a base camp to explore the marvelous wonders of the Redwoods.

This is the perfect place to stay to explore the historical downtown streets of Ferndale. Located in the center of town and walkable to all of the favorite shops, we spent sometime visiting each one. You can tell the host has taken great care with the decor and unique pieces throughout the apartment. It felt like a much welcomed step back in time. This is a good home base for other must sees around the area. We definitely enjoyed our stay!
