The Red Barn Cottage is located within walking distance of the historic, Victorian village of Ferndale. The Cottage is a charming, separate studio with a private entrance, gated patio, full kitchen and bathroom. Enjoy exploring Ferndale, the nearby Pacific Ocean, majestic redwoods, and lush farmlands. The fairgrounds are only one block away and downtown Ferndale is 4 1/2 blocks away. This space is perfect for a couple or a family with one child. We have a folding bed, if needed, for your child. A small dog is considered with approval and an additional $50 nonrefundable pet fee.

It has a homey atmosphere with all the amenities of home, including a queen size comfy bed, WiFi and Cable TV. Your comfort is our top priority! Continental breakfast items and snacks are complimentary. A Keurig coffeemaker and quality coffee and teas are included. This is the second time we have stayed at the Red barn cottage. It is by far one of the best homes we have rented. It is spotlessly clean. It is exactly as advertised with so many extra touches. Everything was thought of. The cupboards have hot and cold cereals, the freezer two different kinds of muffins. Teas, coffees condiments and more. Nothing is forgotten. The bed is comfortable. The floors are heated which makes for perfect heating without a sound.We love to visit Ferndale at Christmas time and the town did not disappoint. There is even an ice rink this year at the fair grounds which we could walk to. Will definitely return.
