About this house rental
This large spacious home is nestled right near the beautiful white sandy beaches of Coopers Beach. Big enough to accommodate two families, this would be your ideal family get away!
The beach - just a 2 minute walk away - is perfect for safe swimming, kayaking, fishing, and a spot of sunbathing. Plenty of shelter with huge Pohutukawa trees for the kids to play under. Take a stroll along Coopers to the big playground, or just catch a sunset. For a rainy day, Netflix and Freeview available on SmartTV, or a game of Table Tennis.
The Bach itself, is a two-storied home, with large open plan living upstairs, a deck, and BBQ for your summer night entertaining. Upstairs, also has two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, Down stairs has two double bedrooms, a second lounge area, bathroom, and games area. Foldaway bed, port-a-cot, and high chair available on request.
All amenities are nice and handy - 3 minutes over to boat ramp at Mill Bay, 4 minute drive into Mangonui township which has waterfront bars/ cafes, shops, as well as the famous Mangonui Fish and Chip shop. 3 minute drive to Coopers Beach shopping centre and 4 Square. 15 minutes to Taipa, Carrington resort golf course, and Karikari Estate Winery.
If you are looking to explore the Far North - Cape Reinga is a 1hr 45 minute drive.
Pack a weekend bag and you are set for a relaxing holiday.

The family enjoyed the layout of the house and location. Well setup in the kitchen.Downstairs needed a vacuum with spiderwebs needing clearing. Bit disappointed at having to make the beds, but is that just because I made them all as family arrived late in the day.Great having a pingpong table to use, didn't realise I was so good - hahaAgain close to Coopers Beach, a couple of minutes walk, which was fantastic.

The house was tired and needs updating. It's a large space which could be amazing. The living area is very comfortable.
However, we were self catering and had to wash half of the pots and pans before we could use them.
When we tried to use the washing machine we found there was a power failure in the Rumpus room which had gone unnoticed. Unfortunately there was also a freezer down there that had defrosted and the smell was awful. This wasn't attended to until we had completed our stay.
The location close to the beach is wonderful and you can see the sea from the balcony.
Taking all our rubbish to the local refuse transfer station 15 minutes drive away was asking a bit much!
We've been traveling around New Zealand for four weeks now and this is not comparable to other properties of a similar nature that we have rented.
