***We continue to implement our already rigorous cleaning protocols along with an added layer of disinfecting, as we finalize for each guest arrival. On departure, we ask that you take out the trash and begin a load of towels in the laundry, if it exists onsite, and we require that you not leave any dirty dishes/pots & pans. A fee of up to $200 may be charged for dirty dishes/pots & pans.***

We were greeted at the gate by the property owner, Brenn, and warmly welcomed. We happened to be there during November’s “atmospheric river,” bringing torrential nonstop rain. However, the coziness of the cottage and the warmth created by the wood burning stove were so relaxing. There was no shortage of thoughtful amenities… including assorted (4 full bottles!) of Brenn’s own spice mixes! Though the rain prohibited us from spending time on the back patio, we could go out during the brief rain breaks and watch the deer wonder the hillside. The bed annd pillows were sooo comfortable Our stay was too short but we will definitely return!

Property was nice but the interactions and the notes around the place from the owner were not great. We went slow driving in and the owner left a note to drive walking speed. Then the listing said it had air conditioning but the sign in the place said to shut off when you leave so when we got home at night and tried to cool the place down we found out that it was locked at 75 degrees. So the first two nights were very hot. Then we told him and he said it was programmed and then said he could maybe fix it when we threatened to go to a hotel because of medical issues. He ended up fixing it.
