Get away from the hustle and bustle when you book a break at this cozy cottage on a large lot at Canadohta Lake. With a screened front porch, picnic area, and fire pit, you'll enjoy lake views from every vantage point. In addition to the spacious porch, this cottage has a living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a mudroom. Bring the family -- with bunkbeds in both bedrooms, this cottage can sleep up to 10 people. Includes: air conditioning, TV and DVD player, fridge, stovetop, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, coffee pot, and propane grill. Bathroom includes a shower stall. Plenty of space for hanging out on the porch, at the fire pit, inside, or at the two picnic tables. Large lawn perfect for outdoor games. Dock included just across the road (so bring your kayaks or canoes, or plan to rent a pontoon boat.) It’s just a short drive to a small public beach and other attractions around Canadohta Lake, or a quick 45 minutes to Erie, with Presque Isle State Park, a children’s museum, and more. No wi-fi.

The cottage was quaint. I enjoyed the sun porch in the mornings. I was disappointed that the oven didn’t work, the bathroom shower needed cleaning, there were personal items of the owner left in the bathroom cupboard & shower, and the front porch steps weren’t attached to the cottage.
