Cottage composed of a living / dining room, living room, kitchen
Upstairs 3 bedrooms and a bathroom
Laundry room on the ground floor (washing machine and clothes line)
Walled garden, barbecue ((clean every time)
Bed and bathroom linen provided.
Starter kit available: Oil / vinegar, salt / pepper, sponge / dishwashing liquid, 2 tea towels,
2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 tablets for dishwasher and 2 tablets for washing machine.
Equipment: Internet wifi, television, heating, washing machine, iron, hairdryer.

The kitchen was very well equipped and toys were available for the kids to play with. The rooms were comfortable and the host was great. She provided many good suggestions for places to visit. The only negatives were the hot water would shut off from about 9pm till morning (rough estimate) but it happened every night. The host said it was a new boiler and had a technician scheduled to come look at it but I suspect it was a setting that had been overlooked. The house was a little cool at times but we just dressed a little warmer.

A wonderfully lovely and charming house. The amenities were complete; not everything was new, but it was there.The kitchen was well-equipped, with excellent cookware and utensils. In the surrounding area (less than 40 minutes by car), we discovered and visited different WWII monuments, museums and French castles each day for two weeks. The location is excellent, and there's even a small house/storage facility on the beach that you can use. All in all, we had a wonderful holiday.

The traditional house is in a quiet area with a pretty walled garden. It is spacious, light and well equipped. The house was cool during hot weather.You can walk through the village to the unspoilt Bernières-sur-Mer beach. Courseulles-sur-Mer and Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer are busier with more restaurants and shops.The house is very well situated for visiting the Second World War memorials and D-Day museums.Caen and Bayeux are a short drive away on quiet roads. Caroline was a friendly, helpful and efficient host.
