The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. We checked in, dropped our bags in the room and within 2 minutes were standing under the shadow of the Duomo, in awe. The location is amazing, with easy access to the Duomo, the metro, lots of great restaurants and shopping.
It was unusually warm during our visit and the local restrictions prohibited the use of air conditioning during our visit, which made the evenings a little uncomfortable; opening the windows helped, but not completely.

Brilliant location! Simply amazing! Spacious room with kitchen corner and everything you may need while travelling. Many different lights in the room for your comfort. Breakfast is rich and delicious.
The street can be noisy at night- this is a centre of Milano. Probably, not enough sound proof in the room.
At 9 am at breakfast there was nearly no hot food for 15 minutes- the restaurant wasn't prepared for so many people.
And, most important, the room was not clean enough- even at the time of check-in. We've spilled some water on the floor accidentally and wiping it the tissue was almost black with dust. The same was after daily cleaning in the room. All other surfaces were nice and clean- this was just a floor issue. As hotel is fab in many other ways, I would recommend hotel management to pay attention and fix the minuses- to become the best of the best!

the twin room i booked on booking.com was so-so, the bathroom was dated. later i moved to a premium room on the 5th floor - it was much nicer.
Breakfast was of poor quality - salad and vegetables were not fresh, scrambled eggs did not look appetizing, coffee was so-so.
