About this house rental
From our house you can have a fantastic view, the house is located in the first basin of Lake Como, great place to be near Milan, Lugano and all the villages that are located on the lake. We also have a beautiful veranda brick covered with 25sqm.
The house is situated in Moltrasio, a quaint village in the first basin of Lake Como. The village is about 8 km from Como and 3km from Cernobbio, known for the presence of Villa D'Este and Villa Erba.
The house is reached after a short, scenic walk 5 /7 minutes (which I'm 37 years we use this time, my mom is 72 years old instead it takes 15 minutes), of course we do not recommend this house to people who have physical problems. (For the transport of luggage you will have our help of course) .you can't arrive with the car in the house, there isn't the way. From house you can enjoy a magnificent view of the lake .The house is renovated stone and consists of a living room with working fireplace and an old bread oven and a double sofa bed, a bedroom with double bed canopy, kitchen and bathroom and is arranged over 2 floors( from bedroom to living room there isn’t door, only spiral stairs) . In the bedroom and in the living room there are exit outside, for luggage or if you want go outside end don’t use spiral stairs. It 'also a large veranda (25m) brick with a spectacular view of the lake, ideal for candlelight dinners or barbecues with friends. There is a dependance only for 5/6 person with one bedroom and 1 bathroom and kitchen-bar. The convenient location allows you to reach the Swiss border which is only 3 km, the casino sample and Lugano in less than an hour, Milan in 50 minutes and numerous boat trips (Bellagio Menaggio etc) · Ideal for hiking, directly from the house along bridleways features you can reach the refuge Bugone and Murelli where you can enjoy a great traditional lunch.

The three story house built into the mountains overlooking Lake Como could not be more perfectly situated for a colossal view. The photos do not do the house justice and Sara made us feel welcome, in spite of our not speaking more than a few words of Italian. We loved staying in Moltrasio and at the house because it feels more rustic and relaxing than Bellagio, which we visited and once was enough. We only stayed two days and I would like to come back for a week and visit the villages in the area. In the description, potential renters are advised about the climb to the house. I would recommend that a person be in fairly good physical condition to do it. The pay off, being up so high above the lake, is worth it. This is a wonderful place to visit and relax. Highly recommend.

Spectacular view and accommodations. Peaceful and calm. Soothing chimes from the cathedral added to the charm. We were very sad to have to go. You do need to be prepared to walk up lots of stairs with your luggage, but it's worth the effort. The 2nd floor has a family room with an open picture window, couches, and a dining area overlooking the lake. Maybe the best view in the area. Please be sure to get your food supplies before you arrive. There is a good market in Como. It was the best shower of any place we stayed - spacious with a rainfall shower head. Accommodating, friendly, and helpful host. We highly recommend this property to experience the ambiance of the area and the breathtaking view of the Como Lake area.

We had a wonderful stay at the stone house! Sara was great to work with. She made sure we were prepared for our stay and arrival. The character in the house was just what I was looking for. The house was so clean and we really appreciated all the thoughtful touches Sara had in the house. There are a lot of steps to the house, but we felt it was worth it!
