About this cottage rental
Charming cottage inspected and licensed by the city of Dana Point. Not a condo/apartment but a house. No adjacent walls. Walking distance to the Harbor/Marina with a great variety of recreational activities, shopping and restaurants. Very comfortable 2 bedrooms/1 bath cottage radiates good energy as described by some guests. Parking in the long driveway. Comfortable patio furniture in the backyard. A queen size bed in the Master Bedroom and trundle bed in the second guest room unfolds into 2 twin beds. There are two identical large dressers in both bedrooms. In addition, there are 2 folding couches (futons) in the living room. Close to shopping and services. The area is known for its perfect climate. It seldom gets real hot or real cold. We are constantly updating the property to make it better. Most sheets we provide have a high thread count. Pets will be considered on a case by case basis. The city of Dana Point is very strict about noise disturbances. Please be cognizant of Dana Point regulations concerning a noise disturbance. There has never been an issue with security. However to make our guests feel even safer in the new environment we have installed a camera on the outside ONLY!

Great little cottage convenient to everything in Dana Point. Very clean, very comfortable beds, most of what you need in the kitchen. Took advantage of the back patio to read in the afternoon, very private. The neighborhood is very quiet. Walkable to restaurants, and everything in the Lantern district. Great communication from the host. Definitely looking forward to staying here again.

Great location in Dana Point
Very clean and quiet
Room for one car in driveway, possibly 2 small cars.
Cons
Description says it will sleep 6, we booked for 5 and paid the extra charge. However there were only 4 bath towels and minimal bedding - luckily 3 of our party couldn’t make it - I don’t think it would have worked for 5. It was fine for two.
Very bare bones amenities in terms of toiletries and some of the nice touches of home, however the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils
The outside areas could use some attention
