About this house rental
Lovely kid friendly Birdrock house awaits you for you vacation. 3 blocks to the ocean, and 1 mile to beach access in both directions. Relax on the large patio where you can enjoy peak view of the ocean, barbecue or take a 2 minutes stroll to the La Jolla Blvd for a variety of restaurants, bakery, and coffee shops. No need to drive anywhere. Everything is in walking distance Our house has 4 bedrooms with 2 queen size bed, one full size,and a bunkbed with a double/twin bed.There are 3 TVs, Internet access, Wii games, X-Box, DVD and a foosball table.
No parties are allowed as houses are very close together and this is a family neighborhood.
Play games on the grass in the front yard which is completely fenced in, which is great for Kids and Pets, or use the large deck to catch some sun. Borrow our bikes and cruise down the bike path or to the beach. Boogie boards, beach chairs and towels are provides for your convenience.
Why the Owner Chose Bird Rock: My husband and I moved here 20 years ago from Sweden and England. We have lived in different locations in USA, but we found that La Jolla is one of the most beautiful places in California, and one of the best places to live.
The Unique Benefits at this House: You will find a friendly, and easygoing neighborhood where people love the outdoors. We live in a granny house on the same property but do not share any walls or out door space. We are always available if needed.

What a lovely property - felt like home and had everything you might need from a sewing kit to coffee filters. Lovely back deck and cosy living-room for family conversations over morning coffee. Truly a home away from home.

One of the nicest VRBO’s we’ve stayed in. And there have been dozens. Super comfortable, wonderfully equipped, and lots of nice touches on arrival, like great fresh fruit and coffee. Highly recommend.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful La Jolla home! The location is absolutely unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach and close to great coffee shops, grocery stores, and scenic coastal trails. The house itself was clean, spacious, and full of character, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the outdoor space for morning coffee and evening sunsets. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and stylish coastal escape!
