About this house rental
Light and airy this newly renovated property is situated in a central location, close to all the amenities that Dartmouth has to offer but tucked away up School Steps, which is a quiet secluded location. There are 54 steps in all but the reward is the view, of the sea, river, castle and Kingswear.
Our property is an old coastal cottage with a modern twist. It provides the perfect location to sit and take in the river life, the steam trains or as a base to explore the areas many attractions.
You access property through front door, which leads to a Hallway, with a downstairs shower room, perfect for coming straight in from the beach! From the Hallway you can either go upstairs or you can go into our sitting room, with feature fireplace and breath-taking views over the river and out to sea. Our very well-appointed kitchen is a great place to entertain with a large table making the most of the views. Upstairs we have one Master bedroom, with ensuite and walk-in wardrobe, this is accessed by a separate staircase that leads from the kitchen. Upstairs there is also great twin room and a further double room, which are accessed by the main hall stairway. There is a large family bathroom, with a freestanding bath. All of our bedrooms have smart TVs and comfortable beds.

Amazing property and we had a lovely stay! Communication with the host was great and the property was clean and so beautifully refurbished. The location is really good and although slightly tricky to unload the car on arrival and department due to the steps - it is completely worth the effort for the view, peacefulness and such a lovely property. The kitchen, dining, lounge, bathrooms and beds were all great and we had a really comfortable stay so thank you. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon.

Lovely spot for a relaxing family holiday. We love it so much that this was our third stay! Just as described. Excellent communications with owners. They even offered us an earlier check in on the day as the cleaners had prepared things sooner. Much appreciated. Parking is a little challenging, but soon forgotten once you’re enjoying the 180 degree views of the water over to Kingswear and out to sea, past the castle. Simply wonderful.

We’ve had the best time, the house is perfect especially for Christmas! Brilliant communication, location even the steps not too bad for my 86 yr old mother but she is v fit. Loved this place will stay again!
