About this house rental
Large, comfortable home has plenty of bedrooms and living space for all to enjoy together, and have their own space. Beautiful view of Mount Diablo from the deck; fish, kayak, boat off the dock; and fast water so close so you don’t need to chug along forever at 5 mph.
The expansive great room is perfect for a family reunion or multi-family trip! It has a theatre-like TV and second TV over bar, large sectional sofa, plenty of extra seats, and fireplace with electric insert. Gorgeous kitchen has granite counters and bars/barstools, 2 sinks, Viking Pro gas range, well-stocked pots/pans/utensils, and plenty of dishes. Sunken bar features a mini-fridge/freezer, ice/water dispenser and bar tools. The separate pantry has a commercial fridge and freezer, pass through window to deck, and plenty of space for whatever food and snacks you’d like. Dining seating for 18 at the table, bar counter, and kitchen counter. Plenty of plates, glasses, utensils and cookware for the whole crowd.
The downstairs master bedroom features a king bed, jacuzzi tub with two head shower, and TV. The huge second downstairs bedroom has two double beds, each with a twin trundle, a recliner sofa, built-in desk with computer screen, foosball table, and plenty of games. The 1/2 bath and the outdoor shower are also downstairs.
There are three more king bed bedrooms upstairs with beautiful views of the river and Mount Diablo. There are also two “slant rooms” upstairs - each are 16’ x 22’ with slanted ceilings over part (but plenty of full height space) that are extra fun for kids. One has two twin beds and the other has a queen and a double bed.
Outside there is plenty of seating so everyone can relax on the deck and enjoy the view while barbecuing on the gas barbecue. You can fish right off the dock! The dock is ready for you to bring your boat or jet skis, or borrow our kayaks (available for use) or pontoon boat (send inquiry to owner). We have two driveways that will easily accommodate 4-5 cars.
We even welcome your dog (up to two dogs but only up to 35 lbs. each due to hardwood floors) or cat (up to 2 cats).
The neighborhood is great. Our street is a long cul de sac where kids can play, but it is a family friendly neighborhood so no loud parties (sound restrictions prohibit noise after 9pm), no guests beyond those registered in the house, no smoking inside, and no illegal activity - we can assure you that neighbors will call the police if you violate the rules! Discovery Bay has a community center with a swimming pool, beautiful tennis and pickleball courts, two dog parks, and large parks with playgrounds, restaurants, and nearby shopping. Wine tasting and whiskey tasting are also nearby. Fun for all ages!

The property was amazing! Came to the area for my wedding and Kim was so accommodating to our group. It was the perfect spot and had the perfect amount of space for our group. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Everything went smoothly and we had an amazing time. The house was clean, beds comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. Enough space for a large family gathering. Would recommend!

We had such a great stay here! Loved the many separate bedrooms—perfect for giving everyone their own space. The open gathering areas, both inside and out, were wonderful for spending time together. The large fridge and full-sized freezer were amazing for storing all our food, and there were plenty of towels and supplies. The outdoor shower was such a nice bonus after a day in the water. We enjoyed using the provided kayaks, and we brought our own swim pad to attach to the dock—perfect for the kids (and adults!) to jump in and play, even with the current. Kim was quick to respond and very easy to work with. We’ll definitely be back!

This home is exactly as pictured - very clean. This is the perfect place for a large couples getaway as the home is has many large, comfortable king beds. We spent most of our time relaxing on the large deck. We watched the boats pass by and the sunset each night. I worked from this house on one of the days we were there and the WiFi was excellent. Check in was seamless and we will certainly be back!
