Located in the center of Villeneuve close to restaurants and shops. You will be able to enjoy the charm of the village but also to take full advantage of the Avignon festival. A shuttle bus Avignon every ten minutes. From Villeneuve will have the opportunity to travel the Rhone Gard but also the country of Vaucluse in all its diversity.

The apartment is as the photos show, spacious and well appointed art work. Has the classic stone spiral stairs to 1st floor, as always the steps are to small. A small balcony for 2, over looking a busy local bistro for locals, a little loud up until 11:30 usually. Unfortunately, the apartment lists as air conditioned, but is only in 1 bedroom, a fan for the other bedroom. With all the windows upon, you can get a breeze thru that is sufficient. Parking is “The Game” everyone plays locals & visitors alike. The only real issue we had was with the TV, a very complicated affair. Our Host had to send someone to show us the process & change the remote batteries. But, still had a stubborn streak as to when it wished to be active. Otherwise a good place for two. In the middle of Villeneauve, just a classic.

We loved our stay in Helene’s apartment. Such a beautiful authentic apartment in the heart of Villeneuve. The apartment has everything you need, Villeneuve is a gorgeous village with all amenities close by. It’s an easy 10 minutes on the bus to the heart of Avignon. Helene was a wonderful host, so very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend staying here as a base to visit Provence.

A perfect location for our time in Provence. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. There was free parking a few minutes down the street and the #5 bus was an easy trip into Avignon. The flea and produce markets in Villenuve were the best that we'd encountered in our travels and a lovely little grocery across from the apartment. The locals are friendly and helpful. The only reason we didn't give it a 5 star is that it's also situated on a main street in Villeneuve and next to a restaurant that's open 7 days a week. Wouldn't be so much of an issue if you kept the windows closed. Merci beaucoup Helene.
