Breakfast was great, the permission to eat in our room was very handy, the dedicated bin for take-away waste and the clothes dryers were very well thought out options for guests. Our host was very friendly and accommodating too.
Parking is a lottery, but only to be expected in this location, it's the same for every other guest house in the area. That said, even at the end of half-term week, we managed to find a space within a sesible distance of the property every day. Parking is free.

A great stay. Local to the town, a five minute walk to town centre. A small room but adequate. The included breakfast was great. Availability of fresh milk and more tea or coffee sachets always available. Staff, Andy, very helpful.

Location, Andy was great. Very friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfy and the room very clean. Breakfast was perfect every morning.

The owner was friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. Breakfast was good (although you have to order exactly what you want the day before)
The ‘double room’ was really a single attic room with a double bed squeezed in. The bed itself was hard and uncomfortable. We were on the top floor, 30+ steps upstairs from the entrance, just something to be aware of after a day out walking. Check out was 10am, with fines if you’re late!
