Lincoln Guest House

Kevan and Xueyan were very welcoming. At breakfast I heard Xueyan offering alternative choice to another guest after they declined the full English. Had the single room with private external bathroom and it was perfect. I slept really well, there was little if no noise as no passing traffic due to location of house yet within a 5 minute walk to Keswick high street and bus station. Probably one of the best views I've had from a single room with views to mountains.

There was nothing I didn't like. Maybe a hook on the back of the bedroom door, but that's just me liking to hang my clothes for next day's hike up - the back of the chair was perfectly adequate and there is wardrobe space.

The house was immaculately clean and tidy. The facilities are very good. Our room was small but adequate. The breakfast was excellent and the owner and his wife were lovely, helpful, friendly people but not over the top.There is parking in front of the house. We will definitely return.

The hill up to the house was a challenge for an 80yr and 73yr old but after three days walking up and down, we were thrilled to notice we didn't experience any difficulties, feeling much healthier!!

Great location, owners very friendly, breakfast was excellent. Bedroom was comfortable with beautiful views.

Initially we were concerned about the half hour window allowed for breakfast, we found this did not cause us problem at all.

Great location and accommodation very clean

Breakfast limited, 3 cereals and full english. Only available for 30 mins and although obviously cooked fresh but did feel.like it was cooked and kept warm until you sat down. Was then very quickly asked to leave the table as soon as finished so cleaning could take place. Didn't feel like the relaxing start of the day I was expecting. Didn't feel particularly welcome by the host in comparison with other places I've stayed.
