The hosts were very engaging and helpful even when there was a local black-out. The views and peacefulness were terrific as well as the fresh veggies from their garden.

Really neat property in a unique area surrounded by bush. House is very comfortable and open - older style but very good. Saw a morepork at night and heard kiwi's. Kids really enjoyed exploring around the area. Candy also goes out of her way to make you welcome. A really good place.

The lodge is set on a hillside next to bush with wonderful views of the valley - a very quiet and relaxing getaway!

A wonderful house in a beautiful and quiet location, with fantastic hosts. Rawiri cooked an excellent dinner for us on the first night with more than enough left over for the next day or two.
