Charming holiday rental with swimming pool for 8 people located in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, in the Vaucluse department, in Provence. You will stay in the countryside, approximately 2 km from the town centre.
You will be charmed by the town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, which is situated at the foot of the Vaucluse plateau, in the plain of Comtat Venaissin. The town centre is surrounded by several canals fed by the Sorgue, nicknamed "the little Venice", not to be confused with the Sorgues in Aveyron. These canals were used to operate paddle wheels to supply motive power to local factories.
Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is one of the must-see places to visit in Provence. You will be able to discover the "water sharing" (partage des eaux), 1 km upstream from the town. The river splits in two and forms a shaded body of water where you can recharge your batteries. During your holiday in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue you will also find approximately 300 antique dealers for the pleasure of lovers of beautiful second-hand goods and art galleries. You can try fly fishing on the Sorgue or go canoeing and kayaking.

Nice comfortable house at the end of a residential area. 2 km from center, nice for bicycle tours. Nice welcome by Vincent, house was clean. Splendid weather, but problems with the pool, parasols broken or not functioning and pergola broken in the week before our arrival, so no shade at all on the terrace. Furthermore unstable toilet seats and dining chairs. Needs some attention on details.
