About this cabin rental
Our Lake house was built in 1936 and has had two previous owners. Through its past owners, the integrity of this Lake house remains strong, as it was built to be modest and used as a year round home. Our Lake house has a lot of character and holds plenty of memories from its previous owners. The knotty wood pine planks are quite charming and line the inside walls and parts of the ceiling. Criss-crossing ceiling beams hang above the large sized living room. The sitting room has a futon that sleeps two, with a game closet fully loaded for late night fun and a TV/DVD player.
Our favorite room in the whole house, and where most of our time is spent, is in the sunroom. This is a great place to sit and watch the sunrise over Conneaut Lake. The sunroom also has a dining room table that seats 8 and is great for playing group board games or sharing a meal together. Our Lake house has 113 feet of Lake front property, a new private land dock to fish at your leisure and a place to dock your boat for the week. We have three bedrooms with twin beds in two of the rooms and two singles in the other. The kitchen is fully stocked for all of your cooking needs. We also have a washer and dryer that are available for your use.
We love the location of our Lake house as we are in walking distance to most everything and bike able to anywhere around Conneaut Lake, so be sure to bring your bikes. It is also within walking distance to Fireman’s Beach and downtown Conneaut Lake (brewery, coffee shop, etc)

The rental was great inside however the outside needs attention. The landscape is a mess and the house needs pressure washing. There were hundreds of spiders in the windows on the sunroom. We had a nice time.

We had an excellent stay! Everything is just as pictured. The host was really nice and promptly answered a question i had. The location is fantastic. You can walk to restaurants, shops, and an adorable little museum. Sunrises are totally worth getting up for to watch fron the sunroom or the land dock. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved everything about this house from the vintage knotty pine paneling, wall mounted bottle opener, and growth chart from '49... to tying our fishing boat on the land dock... walking into town to the sweet diner for breakfast and the Brewery/ Silver Shores for dinner (be sure to chat with 90 y/o Jerry on his porch along the way!). Did I mention the LAKEFRONT VIEW??? From sunrise coffee to sunset beverages, read a book while others fish and enjoy water play! Weekend activity on the water was busy, but come Monday it was so peaceful. Despite the warm August waters, some fish were caught and kites flown, Our grandkids had a ball with it all. After multiple trips to Hanks for ice cream, we learned "Shut the Box" and played other night time games on the sunporch. We WILL be back!
