Located on the ground floor, no floor to climb with suitcases! Double glazing mirror so no problem of privacy.

Everything happens feet: Close to theaters and about 15 minutes from the Palais des Papes. 5 minutes from Les Halles and shops. Near the appartment, a free parking with shuttle to the center of town. No car needed. ideal base for exploring Avignon and the Provence area. Vélopop nearby. Can pick our guests to the train station.

Check in was easy and owner easy to contact. The decor was nice but could use a deep cleaning and a refresh. Let the owner know about a few cleaning issues and I’m sure they will be addressed soon. Really good location in side the walls and on the ground floor which is a real plus.

This was a nice property for the value paid. The owner was extremely responsive with a small issue we had.
I would like to clarify the parking....
There is parking on the street until about 4:30pm. After that time, neighbors come home from work and there is not parking. There is a cost to parking on the street that was not indicated on the listing. from 7pm-9am the parking is free. After 9am you have to feed the meter. it is a lot of money. We were told there is parking down the street at Les Halles and outside of the gate. We chose this place to stay as it was inside the wall of Avignon and it had parking. However, we spent a lot of time worrying about the meter and the cost of the parking. If you have a car, it is best to stay at another place where you don't have to move it or incur the cost.
That being said. The apartment was good for two people and the owner was super nice.

Nice to have a first floor apartment for a change. Clean, comfortable, well-located, friendly hostess, well-equipped -- just about anything you'd need from a two bedroom apartment in Avignon.
