With Mt Konocti, looming on the horizon, the apt. is a wonderful stay for all and is a lake lover dream, romantic retreat. It's a lake front, with common deck to enjoy the sunset on the lake everyday! Falling asleep and waking up to sounds of waves, birds and wind as well as gorgeous view of the sunset from the living room window. The bed is very comfortable, the shower is great, and the kitchen is clean and well stocked with appliances to cook at home.

The view of the lake was breathtaking! Our unit was a little dated but was very cozy and comfortable. There are other units on the property that are more updated and absolutely awesome! Unit 8 and the house next door are what l’m referring too. Our neighbor Ron was so friendly my husband and l really enjoyed his company. Mo our cleaning staff was absolutely the most nicest people l ever met. She made me feel right at home and got us checked in with ease. The owner and l had great communication and l definitely will book again whenever we are in Clearlake.

WE had a really nice time. The bungalow was very cute and had everything we needed. (it would have been great to have a frying pan and a saucepan but we made do.) There is a little enclave of about 7 cottages and the best part was having Ron and Paul as our resident hosts. They regaled us with some great stories and were there for us if we needed anything. The common space by the lake provided a social time that enhanced our experience. Too bad the lake is so low, but we had some fun excursions to the Knockti Lodge and the Blackberry Festival in Middletown. We had a great two days.

I have three main points I really want to get across:
1. For the price, it's unbeatable value in this area
2. Even if it wasn't incredibly cheap, everything is super clean, and the host was really friendly - but not intrusive like some airbnb/homeaway hosts I've run into.
3. I don't know if it's Clear Lake, or this house, but something magical about the area I'm not quite sure how to express in writing. Definitely something you need to experience for yourself.
I'll definitely be back. Pro Tip: you want to check out the Wright Peak Summit and Indian Nature Trails. So gorgeous!
