Make this island gem your Orcas destination! Impeccably restored in 2021, the Homestead combines the best of the past with every modern amenity. Built by settlers in 1906 and representative of Orcas Island history, this coastal classic is centrally located in Eastsound Village. Equally appealing as a romantic get-away or gathering of family and friends, this is the perfect sanctuary from which to launch your island explorations. There’s plenty of room to spread out, with a central great room (kitchen/dining/living room), large deck, slate patio, hot tub and outdoor gazebo with fire pit. Bedrooms include king bed on the main floor, three queen beds upstairs, and two twin daybeds as well. Primary bedroom overlooks the gorgeous view through twin dormers. Fully equipped gourmet kitchen, three flatscreen TV's, high speed internet, gas barbecue, and several desk areas for keeping up on your computer work. In the evenings enjoy a drink in the sea-born breeze, listen to waves on the shore below, and watch the abundant wildlife around Indian Island.

You can stroll to the Farmer's Market, enjoy a meal in one of Eastsound's world-class restaurants, and get delicious take-out items to share at home. A bookstore and lattes are just around the corner, bakery across the street and whale watch tours and/or kayak rentals can be arranged nearby. Island Market has all of your grocery needs just two blocks away. The stunning views include the bay, picturesque Eastsound Village, and island sunsets. Great location and Beautiful view. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need. Lots of games, puzzles and books. Downtown restaurants, the grocery store and park was a 5 minute walk.
