The lodge is very nice. It has a wonderful view from the large window front. The living room is very cozy and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. For guests who attach less importance to the quality of the sleeping facilities, the house is highly recommended.Since the quality of the mattresses (because of back pain) is a decisive criterion for us, we asked. Answer from Belvilla (quote): "Old mattresses are repaired or replaced immediately. The house has 5 bedrooms, all equipped with comfortable beds and high quality mattresses to ensure a restful and relaxing stay for every guest." The prospect of high-quality and new mattresses had convinced us.After arriving on site, it unfortunately turned out that this information was not true. The mattresses are old and in very poor condition. I could feel every spring from my mattress. The nights became torture for the guests with back problems. I contacted the owner who rents out the lodge through Belvilla. Quote from his reply email: "We are not a hospital or a 5-star hotel." It became clear that Belvilla had answered without consulting the landlord, without knowledge of the condition of the property and not according to the facts. Just having in mind to make money. The owner was kind enough to organize two new mattresses for us for the particularly affected. Thank you very much for that.
