Pretty landscaped and shaded garden, not overlooked. 100 m².
It has 4 bedrooms, 1 on the ground floor, with shower room and separate WC. Large dining kitchen, and large living room.
Upstairs: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, library, small TV lounge, console and video games.
It is located in a quiet residential area, 10 minutes walk from the center (les Halles de Tours).
In the immediate vicinity: bus, shops (bakery, butcher, supermarket, newsagent, etc.)
Farmers market on Wednesday and Saturday (Carreau des Halles) and Sunday (Place Rabelais)
15 minutes walk from the historic center, Place Plumereau, and many restaurants of all kinds.
Our location is also ideal for visiting the Loire castles.

This inviting, nicely furnished home was conveniently situated near food stores, shopping and restaurants. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The kitchen was perfect for cooking with everything needed for making meals. The fireplace looked inviting online , but can’t be used. Being located in town on a one way street meant parking could be challenging. The host was friendly and helpful throughout the process.

This is a lovely older property which is really well placed in Tours. We walked everywhere and loved Tours. Great choice of restaurants in both the old and new town.
Spent seven weeks in total in the house while attending RWC 2023 so probably had a few minor issues that short-term stay people would not have. Our host Marie was excellent and sorted any issue as quickly as she could. She made us feel very welcome and showed great patience.
A couple of negatives - parking is tough, tight and open to all so had to park a few streets away on occasion. Smaller cars better for this. Internet very good upstairs not so downstairs and needed a booster which Marie sorted.
Back to the positives - No.5 bus at end of street brings you to main TGV station and is then only an hour to Paris - we also travelled to Bordeaux and Nantes for matches and all ran smoothly. Tours a smashing place to base yourself for a French exploring holiday. Airport a 20 minute drive with easy access by car and tram (10 mins walk). Our family able to visit which was great.
Became our French home from home and we were well looked after by Marie.

Great place to stay. Easy to walk everywhere we wanted. Only 20 minutes to the SNCF for Château visits (recommend a 3-day train pass for up to 5 travellers).
