About this house rental
Stay in a charming cultural heritage building with hundreds of years of history. All of Rothenburg's landmarks, museums, restaurants & more are within a few minutes walk.
The central location and unique mixture of historic flair and modern living amenities will make your stay an unforgettable experience.
The restored timbered building includes two bedrooms on two floors, a fully-equipped kitchen, living and dining rooms, and two bathrooms with showers with approx. 100 sq meters (1075 sq ft).
Delicious breakfast and super-fast WiFi are included in your reservation.
Parking for one car in a gated area is also included; please let us know if you would like to reserve a parking spot.
Chargers for electric vehicles are available for free.
A washing machine and dryer are available in the building upon request.
Kids and dogs welcome.
The apartment will be exclusively available to you. The bedrooms and living areas are in the upper two levels. Climbing stairs is required.
We are located on a quiet residential street inside the medieval city walls, right next to the Rothenburg Museum and near the famous St. James church. A gate through the old city wall leading directly into the lovely Tauber Valley is within two minutes walking distance.
The entire old city can be comfortably explored on foot from the apartment's location. Public transportation outside the city walls include buses and the Rothenburg train station with connections to all major cities.

This place was a dream! Absolute perfect location right in the city center. Parking right at the house(although driving through Rothenberg was tricky!). The kids loved the decorated Christmas tree and all the little kid “extras”-books and toys. There is even a crib for the little ones. It is decorated so tastefully. We loved every minute of being there!

The host was very helpful with helping us find their location within the walled city. There was construction happening in the area so when we called she stayed on the phone with us to make sure we found our way. They also provided a wonderful tasty breakfast & the building surprisingly had extremely high water pressure even though it was a quaint old building!

Vehicle directions should be accompanied by a map. The ideal entry gate wasn’t quite clear on arrival, but for departure we understood the correct way.

Breakfast was lovely! Our hostess was very attentive and the apartment was as promised. As noted in the description, there are stairs to reach the bedrooms.
