Situated above the city and port of Lerici on a small hill with a 360 degree panorama view. Within 5 minutes you can reach the city center via steps ... but better take your time for the way back :-)

Sky and Elephant
Incredible! We can only echo the superlative comments made by others. We can add some credibility to them because we have lived in this village and environs for seven years. We know what a special treat this particular place is. Having available dedicated parking is very important if you come by car. Even with a car, be prepared for a lot of steps. Mosquitoes go with the territory so also be prepared for that. You can find local products to repel but none seemed 100% perfect. Paradise comes at a price but for a family of six it’s a fraction of what one would have to pay at a local hotel. Andrea and family have seen to it that you have everything you need to get started and Lerici has everything you will need to continue including delicious take-out including local specialities like stuffed mussels and pesto lasagna.
Dining as a family al fresco either in the garden at entry level or the terrace with the panoramic view two stories up was a special treat for us. Although the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils we relied mostly on pre-prepared dishes from the markets. With six people the washing machine was in regular use and worked fine.
If we return to Lerici for another reunion Sky and Elephant will be our first choice for a place to stay. It helped us create wonderful memories.

Andrea and his family were very charming and helpful. The property was lovely as advertised. Two outside dining area and two lounge rooms.
Magnificent views ovèr the town, castle and surrounding bay. Only a 5 -10 min walk down into town but a longer and steep walk back up to the house.. The local bus came in very useful.
Squeamish renters should be aware though that the elephant is a real stuffed elephant not a wall decoration.
The two showers also flood the bathrooms if great care is not taken.

A House at an excellent location (walking distance to Lerici) and a stunning view over the whole golf of La Spezia. Garden a bit too much shadow. Ground floor with kitchen a bit old and dark. 1st and second floor modern and light with splendid view. Roof terras great for breakfast, aperitive and dinner but two stairs up from kitchen ....
Showers a bit smallish and warm water didn’t work well. We had a great week and would rent it again.
