About this apartment rental
Prices are for 2 people / night, each additional person plus 10 € / night, incl. Towels, bed linen and final cleaning.
The cozy apartment is located about 2.5 km from Balve, in the OT Garbeck. Located between Balve and Neuenrade, Balve and Balver Cave can be reached in less than 5 minutes by car or on foot in 30 minutes. Within walking distance you reach the train stop Garbeck in 5 minutes, from there you have direct connection towards Balve (Menden, Fröndenberg) and Neuenrade.
The Non smoking apartment consists of living room, open kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The bedroom has a double bed, in the living room a pull-out sofa bed and a flat-screen TV. It offers enough space for up to 4 people. The kitchen is equipped with fridge and small freezer, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and all things of daily use. A hair dryer is available in the bathroom.
If required, a baby cot and high chair can be provided.
On the doorstep is a small veranda, which is equipped with seating from spring to autumn. It is also allowed to smoke here!
Located in close proximity to the hiking areas of the Homert and Balver forest nature reserves, this is the ideal starting point for a variety of hikes on well-marked hiking trails. Comfortable family hikes to extended day trips on the well-known hiking trails and Sauerland forest route, are possible. A hike or bike ride through the Hönnetal with a visit to the Reckenhöhle or Feldhofhöhle we can only recommend!
Due to the proximity to the Hochsauerland with its ski areas (Winterberg), also the winter sports enthusiasts or mountain bikers (in the Bikepark Winterberg) get their money's worth.
To cool off on hot days, the beautiful Sorpesee is just 10 minutes away by car. A walk along the waterfront with many restaurants is always worthwhile.

We enjoyed our time in the apartment very much, it is very comfortable. It is not in Balve, but in nearby Garbeck, which is a small village with a tiny shop and bakery.
Would recommend staying there!

My boyfriend and I went here to relax some days right before college would start again. I couldn’t be more happy. It’s very quiet and beautiful, both inside and outside. Everything was so clean and everything was available to cook, for example.
Thank you for your hospitality, familie Gaberle! Even though my German is horrible and my boyfriend had to do all of the talking, we still managed to communicate a bit. I had the best time! If I’ll go to Germany once again, I’ll be sure to check this place first.
