Wonderful house. Great Amenities and the Views are spectacular. Host was pleasant and responsive. Had a wonderful time in Chiemsee. Paddleboarded on the lake, Golfed at the the course and ate at and wonderful restaurant just up the street. Loved our time their. Great House and Host!

We spent a week in the property as a family. We couldn’t have asked for more, from the guy showing us around on arrival to the house itself. Clean, well equipped and with the most amazing views over the lake. Would definitely return and recommend.

Short and sweet - the property was perfectly catered to our needs. The house itself provides all comforts one could expect with comfortable living, large bedrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, and plenty of privacy. The available SUPs make staying at the lake (literally across the road) a perfect starting point for an active holiday. The host is very helpful with suggestions and in answering questions. Within walking distance plenty of shops (bakery, supermarket, petrol station) activities (beach, bike rentals, ferry, mini-golf) and restaurants. The Chiemsee area itself has more than enough to offer for water sports but also city trips (Munich and Salzburg), biking and hiking all in all exactly what we were hoping for!

I cannot rate this property highly enough. An incredibly comfortable house directly opposite Chiemsee Lake which was perfect for swimming and paddle boarding. There are also cafes and bars within close walking distance. In addition to the local attractions of the lake, mountains and islands, it is conveniently situated for visiting Munich and Salzburg, and within ease reach of the Eagles Nest. It was amazing to be able to wake, stroll across the road and have a morning swim before breakfast. Also a highlight was watching the glorious sunsets whilst drinking beer in the local bar. One of our best family holidays ever. We spent an enjoyable week with our two teenage children.
