Diverticolo of via Francigena and via Cassia, La Casa Vacanze Linearis and Podere Sertofano offer the traveler the chance to relax in the gentle calm of the welcoming Tuscan countryside. Driving a few kilometers by car you will reach the Florence-Siena highway that will allow you to easily reach the main Tuscan cities of art, the many places of historical and cultural artistic interest, some renowned all over the world, others to be discovered.
In 1998 our family bought the farmhouse and its agricultural outbuildings which for six years have been carefully restored respecting their authenticity. The oldest part dates back to 1600, the period of formation of the farmhouse in all of Tuscany, and was used as a watchtower. Subsequently, the tower was added to the tower, in different periods the last one dating back to 1847, the rest of the building becoming a farmhouse farmhouse with apartments on the upper floor and stalls on the lower floor. The farmhouse is today at the center of our farm that deals with the production of extra virgin olive oil, with cold-pressed IGP brand and production of Chianti grapes with controlled and guaranteed denomination of origin (DOCG).
The Linearis Holiday Home consists of six apartments, all set in the walls of the old farmhouse, from the old barn have been converted into the two apartments of the Agriturismo Sertofano. Next to the apartments there is another small barn renovated in a laundry-ironing room, a public bath, information point and internet area for the client; what was once the tool shed is today the Reception.
The company is a family business, one of the managers lives in the structure, our love for this land I hope you can understand from the care of the garden that in the warm months water with rainwater collected in a cistern with vaulted ceilings. We also own a small photovoltaic system for the production of electricity. The company is obliged to separate waste collection.
Surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and monumental plants, the apartments are all independent, equipped with every comfort and furnished with taste, simplicity and color. Each one also has its own outdoor furniture.
The structure has a swimming pool with entrance to the beach and maximum depth of 160 cm open from Easter to the end of September. On the opposite side of the pool we find the barbecue area with outdoor tables and next to the play area for children. In addition to outdoor parking, our guests can use a covered garage for a fee. We also have an Internet Wi-Fi that we offer for free, active throughout the garden. In love with nature, pesticides are not used and we are careful to use sustainable products for cleaning apartments. With us you will not find the microwave oven because it is harmful to health, no bath tubs have been inserted to limit the waste of water and water flow reducers have been installed on all the taps. At night the structure is illuminated in a sober way thanks to energy-saving lamps that allow those who intend to dine by candlelight to do so by looking at the stars. Apartment K is the largest of our apartments. It is structured on two floors, first floor and ground floor. It has a large living room with a fireplace and a double sofa bed. Independent kitchen with entrance to the garden and its own outdoor table. Bathroom with shower and hallway. Upstairs we find the sleeping area with large windows, a double bedroom, a bedroom with a French bed, a bathroom with shower and a study with a single sofa bed. View on the vineyard. The apartment can accommodate up to 7 people.
