What a beautiful and clean home. We felt right at home. I would definitely rent again. We loved how private the property is, it’s sitting right in the middle of a huge section with a big front yard and back yard. Hazel has thoughtfully organised all the essentials that would make her guests have a comfortable stay. The slippers and luxurious furry throws provided extra warmth to our stay on a rainy day. The kitchen is well equipped with new appliances, we had everything we needed to prepare a lovely dinner for our family. All beds are super comfy, we slept in a bit so that we could manage the big travel day leaving New Zealand. Would 110% recommend this place, Hazel has made this place the first choice of accommodation for our family whenever we are in Auckland.
Need to walk up the stairs. We used the back door, which is only 4 stairs. But once you are in the house, it’s all on the same level with a great view, as the house is elevated.

Our whānau had a beautiful stay here and will absolutely stay again! I think this is one of the best holiday homes we stayed at. The beds are super comfy, which can be quite rare at holiday homes, and the kids also loved the rain shower.
Her place is better than it looked on the photos, it truly felt like a home away from home—warm, well equipped and thoughtfully designed. We loved the little touches all around the house, welcome chocolates, cotton buds, hair ties, and personally, the coffee machine and coffee pods are a hit for me, and we loved the kid friendly accessories like smart TV, games and books, plates, cups, and high chair.
It is very convenient too, just minutes to get onto the motorway, and it’s quite close to the food outlets and places we visited.
Hazel was super communicative and really accommodating for us! We’d definitely come back to this beautiful place again when visiting Auckland.
It was too short a trip for us, would have loved to stay longer.

The property has modern facilities and equipments. Generally the house is clean, neat and fresh. It has 2 toilets which are very convenient for a family of 7. The host provided us with a portacot for our 7-month old baby and a high chair for our toddler. There are also dining stuff for kids. The living room feels like you are at home away from home. They have smart TV which are very handy for out toddler. The kitchen and dining are so neat and organized, well arranged and complete with all the kitchen things you need. The fridge is brand new, the host’s kitchen appliances are brand new. The host provided all the basic necessities needed in a home such as kitchen stuff/toiletries. The bedroom cabinets are so clean and smells fresh. All cleaning agents and cleaning stuff are provided already, as well as laundry needs. The toilets are so clean like brand new, the bathroom has a very nice shower glass and the house has LED lights. The house is bright and smells fresh. The whole house is warm even if you are not using the heatpump. We loved the chocolates provided and the house slippers. The balcony is so relaxing and has chilling vibes. It feels like you are staying in a hotel that has complete amenities. Very excellent and well done. Thank you for our wonderful experience and relaxing stay here in Auckland. Most importantly, the location is so close to all tourist attractions and our itinerary. Perfect spot when doing a holiday in Auckland.
There is only one cons of the property (for us as we are a family of 7 with 3 elderly ones) is that it is located on the second level which was not that convenient for the old aged/elder ones when using the stairs to go up & down. But this cons does not really matter as overall the place was very good.
