The location was great. The metro is just in front of the hotel. There is free laundry facilities available. It was also in front of Guanqian Street.
There was only 1 elevator that allows access to all the floors, including to the floor where breakfast, gym & laundry area. So sometimes it took a long time to get to the floor you require.

Amazing location with Chayuanchang metro station right outside. Facilities were clean and very modern, wonderfully appointed and very quiet during the night. The breakfasts were great with ample options and notably differing content every day. Excellent, helpful & friendly staff. I would absolutely stay there again. Best shower ever! There are many eateries closeby and a busy walking street with vibrant retail just across the road. I liked that the metro station enabled me to access everything I wanted to see during my time in Suzhou.
Entry is via a lift from a lobby next door to McDonalds. Reception is on the 6th floor. Most rooms are located on the floors below, requiring navigating a long winding coridoor before another lift system

Helpful staff. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center and next to a metro station (line 4) that links to the Suzhou Railway Station (2 stops away). When looking for the hotel for the first time, please note that the reception is located at the 6th floor of a shopping mall. The entrance to the elevators can be found next to a restaurant, at street level.
In the evening, some staple food is available for free for the hotel guests (in the breakfast room).
Not a problem per se, but foreign tourists must keep in mind that this hotel is more suited for domestic travelers, i.e. 1) the staff may not be conversant in English (but can communicate through translation apps, and they have always been helpful during our stay), 2) it is not possible to pay with the credit card, only by cash or using a payment app (this was also mentioned in other reviews, so we prepared some cash in advance), and 3) there is no prospectus/tourist maps available at the reception. But at the same time, these features are balanced by some perks like the free staple food available for dinner.
The way to reach the rooms can be a bit disorientating (i.e. need to take the elevator until 6th floor, then go through the reception and a corridor until the next elevator, then go down to the floor where your room is located).
