900 - Guest House

Posizione centrale in palazzo di pregio, bagno moderno con doccia walk-in. Finiture in pietra in camera e in bagno, ambienti storici con volte elevate.

Il letto è basso e il materasso, a mio avviso, troppo morbido, da sprofondarci dentro. Le luci presenti sono molto soffuse (una addirittura sfarfallante) e, anche a causa della difficoltà ad aprire gli scuri delle finestre, in stanza ci trovavamo sostanzialmente in una condizione di penombra. La mensola del bagno copre parzialmente il lavandino, rendendone scomodo l'utilizzo. L'arredo è particolare, richiamando l'arte di De Chirico, ma può risultare inquietante. Attenzione al portone d'ingresso del palazzo, non va spinto a mano, in quanto è presente un braccio meccanico per l'apertura automatica.

Lawaai van de deur aan de straat. Te dik dekbed en koelkastje dat om de haverklap aansloeg met veel herrie.

My husband and I stayed at the Guest House for a week and really enjoyed our stay. It is excellently located in central Livorno with most amenities in walking distance (or a short bus journey away). It was also a beautifully decorated property, the room was really spacious and clean and it had a lovely large window with traditional shutters. We liked that they provided coffee pods, lots of towels and a fridge to store supplies. We had a minor issue with this the electricity during our stay and it was dealt with quickly and efficiently by the very friendly host. The property feels like good value for money for anyone visiting Livorno.

There was nothing we particularly disliked but in terms of constructive feedback, it would be handy to have proper mugs for hot drinks in the room. There were disposable espresso cups and plastic water cups but a proper porcelain mug would be preferable. We would have also liked for our room to be refreshed by the cleaners once during our week long stay, particularly providing new towels. Otherwise everything else was very good and we would definitely recommend the Guest House.

De Locatie was fijn, super centraal. Een ontbijt zaakje om de hoek.

Super gehorig. Helaas mensen die elke keer bij ons savonds laat gingen aanbellen en de buurman waarbij de wekker afging op zondagochtend om 6.00 uur. Onze douche liep helaas over, het koffiezetapparaat was kapot en we misten wijnglazen! Deze zelf aangeschaft.
