Opinions depend on expectations :) The apartment was very basic, with good and not-so-good things, but it was the cheapest option that I found in this area.
- Price and location
- Host was kind and attentive.
- Easy to find keys and access the building.
- The kitchen is very well equipped (although, as other people already pointed out - without cutlery, so I took my own): coffee maker, kettle, iron
- The bathroom is new and with a lot of light, hair-dryer available
- The bed is not the best... the pillow is very small, and the sheets had a lot of small balls that were actually unpleasant when sleeping.
- The apartment is in a 5th floor but elevator only goes till 4th floor (to take into consideration people with reduced mobility or huge luggage).
- Isolation is not great and one overhears pretty well the neighbors
- "Picky": the trash is broken, the tap in the kitchen is loose, the cabinet for the clothes is really impractical to use, and cleanliness could be improved

Easy check-in and accommodated earlier check in. Good area to explore Brussels and reasonable proximity to Metro.
