I liked it’s location as its close to the pier to catch the ferry to Mt Athos, and also close to the office in which you get your “paper” to enter Mt Athos. Of course, that means its in the tourist part of town and a bit congested but it didn’t bother me.
I didn’t like that the bathroom wasn’t in the room but a short distance from my room. It had a key that made it just for my use but it’s an old fashion key that was noisy to use and the door sticks so I’m sure I disturbed people in the middle of the night. However, the price was good so I’m ok to deal with slight inconvenience.
It also wasn’t the easiest property to check in as I had to ask a couple of people for assistance.

Όλα μια χαρά, αξιοπρεπέστατο το δωμάτιο , είχε μέσα τα πάντα , καθαρό & ευρύχωρο, στο κέντρο της Ουρανούπολης, με μπαλκόνι, δίπλα σε ότι μπορεί κανείς να χρειαστεί.
Ο Παύλος ο ιδιοκτήτης πολύ καλό παιδί, πολύ φιλικός & πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει. Σωστός σε όλα του.
Προτείνεται ανεπιφύλακτα σαν μια που καλή & οικονομική λύση !!

This place is a great find in Ouranoupoli! Right in the center, two minute walk to the beach and next to all the shops, restaurants and parkings. The owner was very welcoming and nice and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the little terraces. We would definitely stay here again.
The shower was a bit tight, but it wasn't a problem at all.
