Winterlingen-Benzingen is a rural village on a plateau in the heart of the Swabian Southwest Alb, famous for its "Zehn Tausender"—ten mountains over 1,000 meters high. The Southwest Alb offers wonderful hiking trails and is especially popular for the premium and Albtrauf trails of the city of Albstadt, which is very close to Benzingen. There are now eleven premium hiking trails, including two winter and two "Traufgängerle" routes, ideal for families with children. These trails have been certified as excellent by the German Hiking Institute.
The apartment has been modernized and offers all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. A large, sunny rooftop terrace and a balcony invite you to enjoy cozy hours together or with friends. Thanks to its central location, the property is a perfect starting point for many interesting excursions: the Upper Danube Valley is about 15 km away, Lake Constance around 70 km (depending on destination), Hohenzollern Castle 35 km, and Sigmaringen Castle 12 km. In winter, several ski lifts are nearby. For water lovers, the well-known "badkap" in Albstadt with a variety of attractions is quickly accessible. In the main town of Winterlingen, you will find a beautiful outdoor pool and a newly renovated indoor pool.
