The hostess, Isabella, although operating from afar, was most friendly and helpful. This is an old-fashioned but elegant apartment with two bedrooms that can sleep four people (one double bed, two single beds). Keys are easily retrieved from a key box near the outer door to the building about which advance information is provided in a timely fashion. The place is very clean. In the event, we did not need a place of this size but booked it when we thought we would be three before our third member pulled out at the last minute. We used it as a one-night stopping place on our way to Venice by car. A car, in metropolitan Bologna, is a major problem, but Isabella spent time explaining exactly where and how we might park without being too far from the apartment. It helped that we arrived on a Sunday when the recommended parking area was free of charge so that we had only to pay for a short time on the following morning. It also helped that the location was near to what many decades ago was Bologna's "périphérique", so that getting out of Bologna in the morning was very easy. This comfortable apartment has, among its other conveniences, an equipped kitchen and a washing machine for clothes, so that it would be a great place for a group of up to four to spend a week or so enjoying Bologna, as we (longtime fans of that wonderful city) were unable to do on this occasion. The apartment is on the second floor and – especially with luggage – the stairs are quite challenging for a person of 83, such as myself.

La posizione centrale, il silenzio , il calore. Il fatto che ci fosse tutto come in una casa vissuta quotidianamente (ferro da stiro, lavatrice, tanto posto dove riporre e appendere le cose, il microonde, il frigo e anche il feeezer)
Andrebbero forse svecchiati un po’ alcuni mobili, per rendere ancora più bella la casa, anche se ha il suo fascino così

Spacious apartment, good heating system, close to the center. Washing machine was a bonus.
There was quite a lot of dust. Plus the baby cot which they’ve kindly provided (thank you!), was broken on one side so was actually quite risky; my toddler tried to escape through the hole in the cot.
The electric socket near the bed had lose cables and sparks coming out of it, so this will need some urgent attention.

The property was close to the heart of Bologna and had everything we needed and more. We only stayed for one night but would highly recommend this accommodation and we look forward to coming back x Thank you Isabella x
