La vicinanza sl centro. In 15 minuti a piedi lo raggiungevi comodamente il castello!

L'appartamento era accogliente ed anche comodo. La pulizia in alcuni ambienti era minima. La coppa della cucina era grassa, mancava un sapore per lavare le stoviglie, un canovaccio per asciugarle. Gli asciugamani erano 3 grandi (1 a testa) e 2 più piccoli posti nei rispettivi bagni. Noi però eravamo 3. La carta igienica era contata. I rumori provenienti dalla ferrovia lì vicino non ci hanno fatto dormire. Praticamente alle 6 eravamo già in piedi. La struttura in generale è un po' datata! Servirebbe una bella pulita. Il giardino fuori praticamente risulta abbandonato. E questo è un vero peccato. Ultima cosa. Se chi organizza l'ospitalità lasciasse qualche tisana, caffè o altro, non andrebbe sicuramente fallito.

The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Great location and a helpful, responsive host. Would definitely stay again!

On a positive note, we appreciated being allowed to drop our bags off before check-in, and the fans provided were very helpful during the heatwave. Overall though, the accommodation felt very basic and sadly we wouldn’t return.

Unfortunately our stay was disappointing. There were several safety and maintenance issues that really need addressing. The downstairs toilet seat was loose, and the front door was really unsafe. It was extremely difficult to open from outside, and after locking it with the thumb turn inside, three adults struggled for around 40 minutes to get the door open again. With young children staying, this was very worrying in case of an emergency. Outside the property there was a dangerous lip in the tarmac by the front door which caused my mum to fall and sustain an injury. There was also a suitcase left outside and a large BBQ poker near the entrance, which again wasn’t ideal or safe for children. The sofa bed bedding was also not acceptable, the duvet was stained and had no duvet cover, so the children refused to use it. Thankfully the weather was warm and we managed without the bedding. There were also only two forks in the kitchen drawer, meaning we had to eat our meal with spoons. Basic stuff missing. The shower was also poor. The water was either boiling hot or freezing cold and kept switching between. Impossible to shower the children. And running a bath was impossible as the water was cold. I would have informed the owners so they could rectify some issues during our stay but we were only there one evening and out by 10am the next morning.
