Very pleasant and spacious apartment ideally situated very close to bus route.
The only drawback i experienced was with the keys. The host's message did not make it clear that the keys were in a key box which was located not by the door of the apartment - which would be usual - or on the exterior wall but behind the metal bars of one of the exterior windows. It took me over an hour to trace this box and another 20 minutes to get it open to retrieve the key as the numerals on the dial were very hard to read from that distance outside the bars of the window and holding down the switch to get the lid of the key box open was very awkward because of the difficulty of getting my hands inside the bars of the window, Altogether an extremely unsatisfactory arrangement. On leaving on the Friday morning, it was pitch dark - there was no light in the window area and even with the light on my phone, it was impossible to see the numerals on the key box code or to get it open. I tried for at least 15 minutes before leaving the key in the small metal pail on the window sill. Not the secure arrangement I would have wished to follow, but it was quite impossible to access the key box properly, or to read the numbers on the dial in the dark.
I strongly suggest the host relocates the key box to a position next to the door of the apartment, where there is a light to see by.
Apart from this one stressful and inconvenient aspect, everything else about the apartment and about my stay and communication with the host (via Booking.Com) was excellent

Süsses Appartement mit schönem Bad und schöner Küche. Durch die Klick-Klack-Couch hatte man noch mehr Platz zum Chillen.
Wir wollten nah an den Calanques sein und das waren wir. Zwei Buslinien bringen einen aber auch gut in die Stadt, wenn man möchte.
Das Wifi war zT sehr langsam, hier gibts Verbesserungspotenzial.
Der Abfluss in der Dusche fängt schnell an zu müffeln, da muss man dann einmal wieder Wasser durchlaufen lassen.
Und man hört die Wohnung oben drüber, aber es hat uns nicht doll gestört.

We were in Les Baumettes district of Marseilles to be as close as possible to the Lea Calanques trailhead. This apartment is the closest you will find. And on the way is a really great and famous restaurant , Chez Zé.
Contrary to other poorly substantiated reviews, there is plenty of light on this apartment ( see my photos ) .
And a touch that few places with kitchens get right : salt , an expression of home and the flavor of life. And this place had even more spices and oil and vinegar. #care !
Other positive qualities:

- sublevel makes this appointment naturally cool in the hot summertime
- everything is new, especially in the
- well equipped kitchen ... Great refrigerator, cutlery, dishes, glasses, cookware
- comfortable huge bed
- fancy rich soap
- fast internet
- easy check-in
- clothes drying ring
Abridged instructions to connect to the internet... But I eventually figured out the 3-deep hidden dimly-lit menu accessible by touch activation to get to the QR code.
