The location is great, the apartment is new, the host is very helpful and nice. There is a lovely balcony and the neighborhood is kinda bohemian and cool. The self-checkout option works well. There are many stores, cafes and bakeries around.
They forgot to turn on hot water so we had to ask them what to do. Although the host responded immediately and the problem was resolved, I think this is a standard thing and guests shouldn't even have to ask. The location of the TV in the room is kinda weird and doesn't make much sense.

We loved the location of the apartment, the view, the cleanliness and the overall interior of the apartment. Also loved the self check-in option.
We had a big problem with the host. We booked the apartment because it said on the booking that it had PRIVATE parking which costs 15€ per day. We were strictly looking for an apartment which had a private parking space because we were coming during the public holiday and we wanted to use the car everyday. We contacted the host via Booking to reserve the parking spot, 7 days before our arrival, and got a message that he’ll check with the host. We never received any answer about the parking spot reservation, and again, we sent another message to the host to confirm the parking spot and our arrival time. We never received any response. When we arrived to Thessaloniki we called the host, he answered and sent us links to PUBLIC garages in the area so we can park our car. Regardless of the fact that all public garages were full and we had no space to park our car, we contacted the host to find a solution considering that he explicitly said that the booking has a PRIVATE parking space. He just kept sending us links to public garages and didn’t even offer any other solutions. After circling the city for more than 3 hours, we asked him to come to the property so he can help us find the solution after which he never answered or replied to this day….
Ps. we found a parking spot on a random street and sent a picture to the host asking if we can park there since there was a sign in greek and we couldn’t understand what it said. He said “of course you can park there .. it’s free”. But after we asked a local woman she said the it’s strictly a parking spot for the residents and even residents cannot stay for more than 24h, and of course it’s not free, you have to pay it via an app..
