About this house rental
Plan your next getaway at our delightful & cozy lake house offering 3 bedrooms - 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and 2 twin beds just footsteps from the shores of South Twin Lake. Nestled deep in the quiet country setting of Howe, Indiana, it’s the perfect place to come if you’re looking to disconnect from the daily grind or spend some time with friends and family swimming, fishing or just relaxing.
Kickback in either sunroom with amazing waterfront views from every angle or lounge and unwind while watching large flat screen TVs in the living rooms. Internet is provided. The house is comfortably furnished and comes with a/c throughout the home to keep you cool in the warm months. The kitchen comes fully loaded with basic kitchenware, dishes & silverware, a standard refrigerator & stove, as well as a microwave and coffee maker. Dine indoors at the kitchen table or al fresco on the porch. Enjoy brunch or dinner overlooking the beautiful lake. Relax on the shore and take in the incredible technicolored sunsets.
The Twin Lakes in Howe Indiana are considered to be some of the cleanest lakes in the entire state. This is a spring-fed, non-sport, private lake with no speed boats or jet-skis. While our lakeside cottage is remote, it’s only about 10 minutes from the 80-90 toll road. Shopping is conveniently located 15 minutes north in Sturgis, Michigan where you'll find a Walmart, Meijer, Walgreens, CVS, Dollar General and many restaurants.
Interested in exploring the area a bit? We are only 15 minutes away from Shipshewana Indiana, where you can get to know some of our Amish neighbors. Check out the Shipshewana flea market, enjoy some authentic homestyle Amish cooking, an afternoon carriage ride, or a show at the Blue Gate Theatre. We are also only an hour from Kalamazoo Michigan, Fort Wayne, Indiana and South Bend, Indiana. Check out our fighting Irish at Notre Dame.

The kitchen was stocked for us. There was enough for us to cook with. The kitchen is pretty big, so not all the cabinets had items in them, which was okay. The master room was huge. Your master sweet could have put two more air mattresses in their or day beds. Showers were great and the water temperature was nice and hot. To have the extra seating area inside to just be able to look out on the lake was beautiful in both morning and night. I like the fact that you had a complete living room set. Coouch, love seat, and recliner. They were comfortable. We had such a great time.
