Perfect location in London Ealing area~

It is in a good location, ideal for access to Gunnersbury Park. Parking is easy with space for a van or 2 smallish cars. The road is quiet. The house has two doubles, a single and a twin, so quite spacious. It has been recently refurbished and is nicely presented. The kitchen was fine. It was generally clean. Looks nice at a surface level. Plenty of towels provided.
Overall it was good value for the area. Booking and communication with the host company was all good.
It looks like it has been recently refurbished, but on a surface level. Everything felt a bit like it was about to fall apart, and some of it already has. The house has been decorated, the kitchen seems quite new, but it could really do with more work.
For example, the tap in the upstairs bathroom was very loose and not secured to the sink properly, the shelf under the mirror was loose and angled so couldn't be used, and there was no shower curtain rendering the shower pretty useless. Looking at the listing pictures it hasn't always been like this.
The shower room downstairs was better with a working walk in shower, but even that had half the water leaking out of the base of the hose.
The beds looked nicely made up, but the mattresses (in the twin room at least) were lumpy and probably not that new. The lights were fitted with bright white bulbs. In the single room there didn't seem to be a way to lower the blackout blind without removing it from the brackets and unrolling it. That may be user error, but a few people tried it. The coat hanging bracket didn't work
Outside there was a table and chairs, but none of the chairs had seats, they were all broken. There was a hole in the ceiling in the upstairs hallway.
