The space is extremely comfortable. Spacious. Two sliding doors to a large back yard and lovely hill view makes it seem even more spacious. Very quiet basement suite in Christine and Maru's home. Our hosts were great communicators, responding quickly to any questions or issues we had. Easy drive to City Basin and even easier drive to trails at Whangarei Falls.
There was no air conditioning. VERY disappointed because this is something we looked for in the listing. It was too warm to sleep well, and it wasn't even hot days. 🙁 A portable "swamp cooler" in the bedroom did nothing to bring down the temperature. We would return ... it was such a roomy, comfortable space for the 2 of us .. IF air conditioning is added.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Ferienwohnung selbst war geräumig, außerordentlich geschmackvoll eingerichtet und super super sauber. Die Glastüren nach zwei Seiten hin sorgten nicht nur für einen lichtdurchfluteten Raum, sie erlaubten auch einen wunderschönen Blick über den Garten und den Ort auf die gegenüberliegenden Hügel. - Ein kleines Paradies.

Location was very nice, size of apartment was great and access to outdoor garden area was ideal. Extremely quiet. Nicely appointed, clean. Very close to grocery store and local shops.
It’s not about the property but we had trouble using the tv.
