Just a hop skip and a jump away from Churchill Downs, 350 yards to be exact :) Come enjoy the fall races! This newly remodeled 3BR/1.5BA upstairs dwelling is perfect for couples or groups ready to experience what Louisville has to offer.
You can’t miss this place! Literally, it’s an iconic landmark in Louisville! Adorned in postcard style on the side of the building, “Greetings From Louisville”, is apart of a nationwide art project by muralist Victor Ving and photographer Lisa Beggs.

Located in the Taylor-Berry neighborhood, this upstairs loft sleeps 6 and is completely separated from the hosts downstairs business.
Upon entering the back deck entrance, you have an open concept dining and kitchen area that flows directly into the wet bar/coffee bar. Sit and relax in one of the 2 sitting chairs while sipping on some Kentucky bourbon or a Nespresso provided upon your arrival.
The living room includes a couch, sitting chair, 65” Smart TV and lots of lighting.
There are 2 bathrooms off the living room, one full with a stand up shower and the other is a half bathroom with a stackable Washer & Dryer.
• Bedroom 1 includes a KING luxurious Purple mattress
• Bedroom 2 includes a QUEEN luxurious Purple mattress
• Bedroom 3 includes two TWIN plush Nectar mattresses (w/trundle)
The kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, sink, microwave, dishwasher, slow cooker, Airfryer and Nespresso coffee machine (no stove). You will have coffee and tea available for you, and of course silverware, dishes and glassware.
Bathroom is stocked with hand soap, some extra TP, towels and hair dryer. Please hang your towels to dry after use, and we prefer to use the black washcloths for washing makeup off.
The entire 2nd floor is yours to enjoy. There is no access to the 1st floor. You have a dedicated walkway in the front that leads upstairs to the back door entrance to ensure your privacy while you come and go as you please. We offer self check in and check out for your convenience. There is one parking space in front of the building and plenty of free street parking.
Building has camera’s outside for your security. We are next door to Speedway gas station which gets traffic night and day. It can get a little noisy so those wanting a complete tranquil stay, should stay in a less urban area.

This is a very cool property, but maybe not for everyone. A 100% honest review of this property.First off, if you want hosts that will be responsive, this property fits your bill. Every message before my stay was responded to within an hour. The A/C went out during our stay and they responded immediately and had fans and a mobile A/C unit within a couple hours. Hosts could not have been better.The unit itself: We only had two people in our party, so 3 bedrooms was more than we needed. The mattresses were the best we've ever had in a VRBO. The Purple mattresses were great. Big plus! There was more space than 6 people could use. The living and dining space were great. Two bathrooms were really wonderful to have. When in the unit, it was great and more than enough for even 5-6 people.The downside: There is no oven. The kitchen is great, but there is no oven in which to cook.The neighborhood: You can see reviews online about the mural. It's a busier intersection than you might get with most VRBO stays. A town bar (5 for 10 beer buckets!) and across the street from Churchill Downs. There's a gas station, which can be busy, but we always felt safe and like the corner was good place.If you want to be close to Churchill, there's no better place. Walking is 3 minutes. If you want to be close to the Expo Center, it's a 5 minute drive...way closer than downtown. If you want to be close to downtown, this is not the place you want.Overall we loved it. *****
