Good location, spacious warm
very poor communication from welkeys, flat dirty in places with crumbs, plastic, hair and ballon remnants on the carpets, person who was supposed to meet us said we were two hours late (we were not - Welkeys had confirmed our agreed arrival time but not passed the message on) and said they would not come out! They did. Noisy heating sytem. Fridge and freezer and washing machine and microwave accessible with difficulty - in cupboard by noisy boiler. No instructions at all about rubbish collection or how to work heating or washing machine etc. Different systems in different countries so would have been useful to have had instructions for gadgets. Ridiculous number of glassess and plates of all shapes and sizes - well over 100 of eachm and old food dating back to 2012 in the cupbooards. Communication with Welkeys very poor -- often didn't reply on same day. SHowers broken. Sink plugs broken. Dirty toothbrush holders. No garden despite it being in the available facilities quoted in Booking.com. We cleaned the flat, fixed the showers and one of the sink plugs.

Fabulous location directly across from the Palais du Papes and within walking distance of all the sights of Avignon and the Avignon Centre station and bus stops. The food market is wonderful and only a short distance away. It’s also very close to paid parking. The apartment was perfect for 4 of us as it is spacious with the bonus of a separate dining room and 2 bathrooms. It’s all on one level with only a few steps up to the front door, however the 2 showers might prove a little challenging for anyone with mobility issues. It is very French shabby chic but clean and comfortable.
The cooking equipment could do with an upgrade and the dryer had not been cleaned.
