The property was very clean and had mostly everything we needed. Fresh towels and toiletries provided. A fan and heater provided. Hob, microwave, kettle and fridge. Coffee on arrival. The location was perfect for us. We were concerned about the poor reviews but we had a pleasant experience. Great communication from the landlord and WiFi was perfect. The block was quiet and well maintained. I was born and raised in West London and lived on the same road in which the flat is located. I think it would be beneficial to research the area before staying so you have a realistic idea of what to expect. For me it was returning home to see family that live round the corner, there is no place like home! But if touring on a budget it's perfect, close to main bus routes and easy access to tube stations. Camden is a must!
We would have liked a TV, there wasn't one. Some electrical sockets didn't work

Für mich persönlich, wenn man nur für 3 Nächte bleibt und wenig Geld für die Unterkunft ausgeben will, hat es super gut gepasst, weil man eine Kochplatte/ einen Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und teekocher hat. Für 2 Personen (Mutter & Tochter), dass uns zugeteilte Studio ausreichend da es nur zum Duschen 🚿, zum Kochen 2x , und zum Übernachten benützt wurde.
Ich hätte die Besitzerin/ den Besitzer gerne kurz persönlich kennenlernen wollen - jedoch schon vor Ankunft in London von zu Hause aus, hatte ich einen sehr guten Eindruck von Besitzerin / Besitzer, da wir auf englischer Sprache sehr gut miteinander schriftlich kommuniziert haben. Wirkt ebenso sehr freundlich & bei Fragen kann man sie / ihn auch immer kontaktieren :]

Bad insulation, the room got easily cold even with the heater on.

The location was perfect for the area we wanted to be in, and it was good value compared to other places. The room was a good size. When we asked for a WIFI code, it was sent to us promptly.
You could only open 1 window, and it was 30 degrees during our stay. There was no privacy film on the windows, and being ground floor level, everyone could see you lying in bed. The wall clock had a dead battery. There was only 1 mug; the other had a hairline crack through it and leaked everywhere when used. There was a dirty glass inside the cupboard, so this wasn't checked prior to our check-in. The bathroom was not very clean. The sink in the room gurgled constantly whenever someone in the building used the tap. The front door constantly banged when people came in & out. Anyone entering the front door could look into our window as the blinds don't cover the whole window.
