The room was clean. The bed was firm but I liked it. There was plenty of hot water in the shower. The room was small and the bathroom smaller. Good for a single traveler.

Shabby chic without the chic.
Extremely compact bathroom (wash hand basin in the actual shower).
But if you just want an average bed in an above average part of town and don't mind lugging your suitcase up stairs it's in a great position.
London ain't cheap is all I can say!
