The location is excellent for walking into town. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive.
The building is old so it is quite noisy when staff and guests are moving around. The car park is very handy but really small so it is difficult to get into unless you are among the first to park.

If I had to be 'picky', thenì the lovely lady serving breakfast just brought us 3 x full English breakfasts......didn't ask us what we wanted. Just brought them. Luckily, they were lovely!!!

Excellent welcome. Clean rooms with a great deal of attention to detail from tea making to throws on the bed. The beer garden is immense with a delightful roof beer garden as well. Staff will come and take your order! (I so miss the Continental way in this respect). Very tasty restaurant food in the evening - Asian Fusion from mainly Nepalese staff/ owner. Full English Breakfast is paid for the night before (£10.95) and was excellent with OJ, tea and any coffee you like with a choice of eggs. A shame a continental option is not possible, but only a minor gripe on an otherwise perfect overnight stay for me and 5 mates.
Option of continental breakfast would be nice.
